Olds Super Trombone Los Angeles Make Late 1940's SN 18541. Very unique model with glass bead satin silver finish, body of bell is in satin, trim is bright silver plate, underneath it is still a gold/rose brass super. Inner bell is gold plated. Super straight dual bore model with fluted inner handslide tubes, in perfect condition, very straight tubing and no signs of inner plating wear. THIS is a very good slide. Excellent Player in deluxe condition. Back in the day, this was one of the most popular small bore trombone models available, especially on the west coast. After all, they were produced in L.A. prior to the move to Fullerton CA. Today, this Super would be an excellent choice for any Jazz player looking for the that classic sound for big band, trad jazz, small group. No service needs to improve appearance or playability. Original case in very good condition.
