Olds Special Trombone, Vintage 1950's Make, Fullerton, CA era, SN 208513. Classic Small bore model. Has 7.5" Yellow Brass Bell and dual bore handslide .485/.500. Single owner instrument, arrived recently. Never damaged or repaired. Has had full shop service including chemical bath and once over. Handslide is fantastic and will not dissapoint. Has super straight tubes, superior alignment, and no inner tube plating defects. This would be an ideal first trombone for any new player. When you compare the qualtity of the vintage horns made in the U.S. to the modern day over seas imports made today, you discover very quickly that that the vintage American made instruments are top notch. Unfortunately, many of the older vintage horns are not in good condition, many of which need repair. This one does not, is all original and single owner. Has a new MTS case, Mouthpiece included. Would be an ideal starter horn for a young player due to it's size. Would also be a great jazz trombone for a HS or College player. No service needs to improve playability.
