Olds Opera Tromobne 1950's

 Olds Opera Large Bore Tenor.  Super rare 1950's model in Yellow Brass.  All of the Operas that we have seen until now have been in Nickel Silver. This horn Has 8.5" Bell, and a standard weight .554 bore handslide.  Comes with original case and mouthpiece.  Single owner instrument, well cared for and kept in a closet for 40 years unplayed.  Freshly cleaned and serviced. Handslide was set-up by The Slide Doctor in GA.  This is a serious player/collector horn. Would make an excellent large bore jazz/solo horn for the right player.  There is no room to improve the slide or any other part of this instrument. Plays super easy and has a rich dark sound with lots of color in the overtones.  Will take a serious player to the next level.
