Olds O-25 Large Bore tenor trombone made in the early 1970's SN 817487. Has 8.5" gold brass bell, nickel silver handslide, nickel silver valve wrap and tuning slide, traditional rotor. Is in excellent condition. Is very similar in design as the George Roberts P-22 bass trombone model. Olds was well know American instrument maker located in CA. Excellent quality materials and craftsmanship, built to last a lifetime. This instrument is an excellent example. Is a symphonic tenor which takes large shank mouthpiece. Has dark and rich deep sound with excellent projection. Super nice overall appearance, all original parts and lacquer. Would be an excellent choice for anyone looking to play American Vintage, or any player looking for a nice pro level horn, but wanting invest 5K. This one definitely does the job. Includes a nice Protec case. No service needs to improve playability.
