Bach 36B Gold Brass Model from Mount Vernon New York Era. Approx year 1962. We have seen quite a few Mt. Vernon Bach’s over the years. Players and collectors know that Mt. Vernon Bach’s are considered to be prized players and collectibles, non-depreciating asset. The great thing about the 36B is that the specs and design have not changed. The valve linkage has changed a little over the years, but nothing wrong with the original. The lever is a little lower and has quick throw. This is a gold brass bell model, 8” diameter. Handslide is standard weight, .525 bore, yellow brass. Has had full shop service with chemical bath, rotor and hand slide have also been adjusted for maximum playability. We like this one a lot, it plays fantastic, super warm with rich Bach overtones, sort of chocolaty. Non original case Bach Case, Early 1960's French Style in perfect condition.
