Martin Committee Trombone Vintage 1960 Has 8" Bell and is .500 Bore. Urbie Green Was Known to say that he felt that this was the ideal sized horn. Which makes sense the later Martin Urbie TR4501 was also 8" Bell with .500 Bore Slide. Of course quite a few differences over the years in design, but this may be the one that got the ball rolling with Urbie and Martin. All original parts, lacquer, case. Never damaged or repaired. This model plays warm and centered. Was an amazing small bore in it's day, and still is. Could be a fantastic pro player studio sound. There are not many of these around today, but, we had another one exactly like it recently, it was about 1 year older. Once these horns get over 50 years old, who keeps track of age anyway?
