KING

King Silvertone Vintage H.N. White Era from 1939 S/N 220,XXX.  This is the sterling silver model which is the same as the silversonic.  H.N. White had to change the name from Silvertone to Silversonic because of a copyright issue with a telecom company.  Has the same classic specs as the 2B.  This one has been restored by Ebay seller H.N. White.  They have been around a long time in vintage instruments.  Here is a link to their website:  https://www.hnwhite.com/Serial%20Numbers.htm  the website is full of historical information about H.N. White and the King brand.  This horn is super clean and is without flaw.  All original parts. Sterling silver bell with inner bell gold plating.   Has matching serial numbers on tuning slide, bell receiver, handslide outer, handslide cork barrel.  They were very thoughtful in those days.  The thing is:  This horn looks amazing, but plays as amazing as it looks.  Would be great for a pro player or anyone who just wants to own a piece of American Instrument History.  The case is from 1945, and is the alligator skin contoured model, in perfect condition.  also includes the original M21 mouthpiece which is the model J.J. Johnson Played on. When you consider the price of an instrument such as this, a new sterling silver King sells for over $3700 today, and the ones made today are replicas (almost) of this one. Check out the amazing engraving.  In-stock for immediate deliver.
