King 4BF Silversonic made in the Mid 1970's. Excellent condition 4B. Has 8.5" Sterling Silver Bell, Lacquered with gold plated inner bell and .547 bore handslide. Classic Silversonic Model. First their was the Silvertone model by King. Then a communications company using the name Silvertone caused King to change the name to Silversonic. Most people think of 2B's and 3B's as Silversonics but King made Symphony Models as well as Bass Trombones witih the same Sterling silver fabrication process. The best way to describe how these play and sound is clarity and energy. Gorgeous sound with fantastic projection. This one is in excellent shape. Lacquer is near perfect. Handlside is fantastic.
