King 4B with F Attachment, Sterling Silver with Inner Gold plating, Sonorous Model. Single owner horn, freshly chem cleaned, re-lacquered. Gorgeous appearance and plays quite easily. Has 8.5" sterling silver bell, tradional rotor, wrap, nickel silver handslide, similar to 2B, 3B model, with .547 bore. Original leadpipe, upper inner tube replaced, slide aligned nicely. Has springs in first position. This vintage classic is becoming increasingly more rare with time. Plays with crisp clean articulations, lot's of center and richness to the sound. Takes standard taper large shank tenor or bass mouthpiece. Would make an excellent large bore jazz or commercial style tenor for someone who wants to play bigger but not sound to "orchestral". Lot's of energy with the sterling bell. Is the type of horn that you could take on the road with a pop/rock artist- give them the full tenor sound, explosive dynamic contrast. Has original case.
