King 3BF 1970's Make SN 482832 Approximately 1975-76. Has "Ropy" engraving, a term coined by King collectors years ago. Is all original parts and lacquer, no previous damage. We did full shop service here including chemical bath and rotor serviced. Has an excellent slide, super straight tubes, superior alignment, no defects. Classic 3B 8" bell with .508 bore nickel silver slide for small shank mouthpiece. Many jazz players prefer straight no F attachment. But, I know numerous working professional players that prefer the 3B with F attachment. If you ever play a show with low B's and E's, an F trigger makes it so much nicer. In addition, you can play big fat low Eb's , D's all the way down to low C. It is a great option when playing in a horn section like Trumpet, Sax, Trombone. It's just an amazing all around horn for gigs in the commercial world. Would also be a fantastic first trigger horn for an advancing student looking to play vintage. Most King Enthusiasts Prefer the older makes such as like this from the 1970's. Includes original case and a Bach mouthpiece.
