This King 3B vintage trombone, serial number 449513, was made around 1970 and is in excellent playing condition. It is a one-owner instrument that was professionally restored several years ago at a top repair shop in Kansas City, where it received a full re-lacquer of the bell section. The bell is in beautiful shape, free of dents and dings, with a vibrant finish that looks outstanding. The slide functions very well and shows no defects in the inner tubes, making it a strong player right out of the case. Some pitting on cork barrels under the lacquer, prior to overhaul. Would be nice to not have pitting under the laquer, but not worth replacing parts and risking playability.
