King 3B Silversonic H.N. White Era Vintage 1965-66. This is the classic 3B concert model, with .508 bore size and 8" sterling silver bell. The replica of this original model sells new today for over $3700. We have play tested both vintage and current make over and over again through the years of The Brass Exchange, and always draw the same conclusion. Why pay extra for a replica, when the original plays and sounds better. This one has had a partial restoration. The bell section is unlacqured and polished silver, with gold plating on the inner bell. The neck and tuning slide has been relacquered. The handslide is all original lacquer. The tubes are very straight and smooth, excellent alignment and it plays exactly as it should. The original gator coffin case is in excellent shape also.
