King 3B Plus Silversonic. This is the slightly large version of the classic 3B. Has 8” Sterling silver bell and lightweight nickel .525 bore hand slide. Single owner instrument, closest kept, barely played on. Not a scratch or blemish on this amazing mid bore tenor. King still makes this model, but they take a long time to get and are very pricey today with the sterling option. We priced them new at over $4200 plus tax, not to mention the long wait to have one made for you. This one has a fantastic slide and plays beautifully. It will not disappoint. I have contemplated .525 bore many times, and as a jazz player, if I could do it all over again, this is the size I would choose. It plays big, but not too big.
