The alloys were better then and the craftsman that made these horns were old school. The 3B model is one of the most popular jazz and commercial trombones of all time. This one has been well cared for and has been played professionaly. Lacquer on bell section has been recently overhauled, looks amazing an plays terrific. Handslide is very smooth and will not dissapoint. Comes with a Deluxe King Coffin Case in perfect condition, has decorative trim, wrap, handles, in 100% working order. They simply don't make cases like this anymore. Would make a great Jazz horn for any player at all levels. A replica of this model today sells for $2000 and doesn't come close to quality or playability.
