King 2B Silversonic, SN 299494, from 1949. Super nice sterling silver 2B with gold plated inner bell. Has had restoration H.N. White CO. These guys do excellent work and have a wealth of historical data published on the internet. Has original case, good condition. Back in the 1940's a Silversonic 2B was every players dream horn for lead, solo, jazz. They were amazing back in the day, but still are now. Once you play it, you know why.
You can still buy a replica model of this 2B Silversonic today with a selling price of over $5400. It is called the King Legend Series. Most players prefer the original, not the replica.
