King 2B Silversonic, H.N. White Era Vintage Mid 1960's SN 426010. Single owner pro player horn. Never major damage or repair, just played on quite a lot over the years. The thing about the old Kings is that they stay good for a long time. This one is nearly 60 years old and plays proper. Has all original parts and lacquer. King would buff the sterling silver bells then lacquer over so that they would never tarnish like a silver plated horn. The lacquer on this horn is about 75% as is the gold plating on the inner bell. Totally straight bell and slide. No inner slide plating loss, super straight tubes with superior alignment. It's a great slide, and needs no additional service. We did full shop service on this horn including chemical bath. No dents or dings. Would be an amazing Jazz/Lead horn for any player. The current model King Legends are not even close in quality or playability. In stock for immediate delivery.
