King 2B Liberty Late 1930's Vintage, H.N. White Era. You could call this Pre-War I suppose. But, importantly, this instrument was the preference of the majority of lead players during the big band era. This is the Model that Tommy Dorsey Played. Here we have one that has not been overhauled. Is all original parts and silver plating. No dents or dings. Hand slide tubes are 100% both inners and outers. Matching serial numbers on handslide cork barrel, outer slide, neckpipe receiver, and tuning slide. It's really amazing that H.N. White used to take the time to serialize all of these parts. This instrument has never been damaged, it's just been played on a lot. Has had full shop service, chemical bath, and is in top playing condition. The hand slide feels fantastic. Overall it plays super easy. Would make a seriously great lead horn for any modern player today. Anyone looking to have the silky smooth sound like Dorsey and many others will love this horn.
