King 2B Liberty, H.N. White Era, made in the mid 1960's. This is a nice classic 2B with all original parts and lacquer. Probably the most popular lead/jazz horn of all time. It is the model that Tommy Dorsey popularized. King players today know that the ones made by H.N. White up through the 1960's are the good ones. This is a good one. Plays super easy. The slide is super loose. You can can tell that the slide has been set-up, tubes are perfectly straight and has very true alignment. Bell section has not had damage or repair. Still has a very nice finish, despite some lacquer loss on the neck area, and some wear around hand grip areas. King 2B Coffin case included. Would be an outstanding jazz or lead horn for any serious player- ideal for a college guy playing lead in the Jazz Band. Our price of $1395 for an H.N. White 2B without issues is very good.
