KING

King 1485 Symphony Model Silversonic. H.N. White Era King.  This is the largest Silversonic tenor that H.N. White produced.  This one is from around 1960-62.  Original Lacquer and parts, has 9" sterling silver bell with gold plated inner.  Nickel Silver handslide bore .536 for large shank tenor mouthpiece.  Has had a tuning slide modification by previous owner, shortened slightly, in order to play at pitch better., now it plays perfectly.  We did full shop service, chemical bath, and once over.  Bell has never been creased or damaged. It's a nice horn.  Plays dark and open, with lot's of center and the classic King sweetness in tone.  Would be a great horn for anyone who loves to play on Kings. Original alligator case in good condition.
