Jerome Callet .500 Bore Hand Crafted Super Rare Mint Jazz Trombone, is less than 10 years old, like new. Callet was a world renowned trumpet player and instrument maker. He is especially known for his study of embouchure technique and published 5 books about it. In his He lived from 1930-2019. He was also an instrument and mouthpiece maker. He made a lot of trumpets, but only a small number of trombones. This was the only model that he produced. This particular one has barely been played. Originally they were priced similar to a new 88H, sort of pricey for a straight small tenor. Has a lighweight handslide with removable leadpipe. The entire instrument is silver plated. Would be a perfect commercial style small bore, big band, small group, studio, ect. Plays with lots of center and pitches lock in quickly. It is a super nice boutique handmade instrument.
