Holton TR180 Vintage Independent Rotor Bass Trombone with D slide on second valve. Is vintage is a 1960's, 1970's model with glantz bar trigger system. Instrument SN 566110. The Holton Loyalist is a good reference. This model is rose brass 10" bell, dependent rotors, nickel silver hand slide. Tunes to D with both valves in first position. Has been played on quite a bit and aged accordingly. Minor inner tube plating. Straight slide and bell. Bell does not appear to have had previous damage, maybe minor dings taken out, but really about as good as these get, after all it's 2024. Is a good bass trombone for anyone who wants to play. Holton players know that there is a certain knack for playing models such as the TR180. Some players like these so much that they later go on to split triggers and stay with it for ever. Has a nice Protec case.
