Holton 65 This is a special order custom. Vintage 1948-49, small bore tenor. The special order Holton's are very rare, is considered a step above the more ubiquitous Stratodyne model. Although this 65 includes a deluxe Stratodyne case. They went all out on this model. Yes is a small bore, with 7" bell. Ideal for lead, jazz, trad jazz. This horn absolutely screams in the upper register., Nothing is left on the table. No damage or repairs ever. Handslide is excellent. All original parts and lacquer, is both a collectible and a pro level pro player horn. The case is off white ivory with leather wrap, and turquoise blue interior, with flap cover. This one has been closet kept for years. Original mouthpiece, mint. Also includes 4 mutes. We have never seen anything quite like it here, and doubt that we will anytime soon. No service needs to improve playability. Is ready for immediate delivery.
