Greenhoe Bass Trombone – Pre-Retirement Build with Bach 50 Bell

This Greenhoe Bass Trombone is a rare, professional-level instrument crafted by the renowned Gary Greenhoe before his retirement. Known for its exceptional craftsmanship and tonal quality, this trombone is an ideal choice for professional orchestra players.

It features an Independent Bb/F/Gb/D standard tuning, and the 9.5" Gold Brass Bach 50 Bell provides a rich, resonant sound perfect for both classical and jazz performances. The standard weight handslide is complemented by an Edwards Sterling Silver Removable Leadpipe, offering outstanding durability and tone.

Unique to this instrument, the collar has been removed from the handslide to accommodate any type of bass leadpipe with a .562 bore, allowing for further customization. The trombone has never sustained any damage or required repairs, making it a pristine example of Greenhoe's pre-retirement work.
