F.E. Olds Historical Instrument. This Olds Super is verified to be the last instrument ever produced by the company prior to it’s closure in 1979. Has original paperwork and letter from Donald Agard, Director of Operations verifying that this is indeed the last instrument ever produced by the company on July 19, 1979. Shortly after this letter was written, the company closed its doors forever. Besides the astonishing historical data on this instrument, it is a fantastic super mint condition trombone. All original, perfect lacquer. Has not been played on much. Was part of a collection that recently became available. Has gorgeous gold brass bell, with nickel silver engraved tone ring, standard on the Olds Super Model. Lightweight Fluted Nickel Silver Slide. Original Case and mouthpiece. In-stock for immediate delivery.
