F.E. Olds "Last Super" Tenor Trombone – Archive
This F.E. Olds "Last Super" tenor trombone holds a truly unique place in brass history. It is verified to be the final instrument ever produced by F.E. Olds & Son, completed on July 19, 1979, just before the company closed its doors forever.

The trombone comes with original paperwork and a letter from Donald Agard, Director of Operations, officially confirming its status as the last instrument manufactured by the company. This letter stands as a remarkable piece of American brass instrument history.

Beyond its historical significance, this horn is in super mint condition, with perfect original lacquer throughout. It has not been played much and was carefully preserved as part of a private collection before becoming available.

This "Last Super" features a gold brass bell with a nickel silver engraved tone ring, which was standard on the Olds Super model. It also has a lightweight fluted nickel silver slide, contributing to its smooth, responsive feel and bright, projecting sound.

Includes the original case and original mouthpiece, completing this extraordinary package.
