Edwards Bass Trombone from Mid 1990's in superb mint condtion. This single owner bass trombone was used for less than two years of college play, then stored for nearly 16 years. Has been freshly cleaned & serviced. Thayer Valves (Pat Pending) are in amazing condition and work extremely well, great balance between the F & Gb- release quick and even. Same as current model B454 F/Gb/D. Has #1277 9.5" "Red" Gold Brass Bell. Has dark and warm sound and is quick to respond. Lots of foward projection and center. Feels like a wall of sound is pushing forward. Would make a great orchestra or all around Symphonic Bass. Hand slide is a an early 90's Bach 50 single bore .562 with 3 removable leadpipes/collar type. Slide is in perfect condition and without flaw. Comes with original Edwards/Getzen Case also in perfect condtion. According to original owner the case never left his house, he used a lighter old style Protec (also available for shipping charges only).
