Has independent Thayer Valve Set Bb/F/Gb/D, Yellow Brass 9.5" Bell model 1023CF which is 20 gauge (lightest gauge) with unsoldered rim (similar to vintage Conn). Bell in perfect condition, never and crease major dent or repair, excellent lacquer condition. Valve section also in excellent condition, quick and lively action with fast and even release. Main tuning slide is gold brass. Dual bore bass handslide B-DBN .562/.578 superior alignment, comes with 3 removable leadpipes, some lacquer wear on handslide, overall apperance very good, excellent playability. Would make an excellent all around bass for any pro player, amateur, or advancing student. Entire instrument has had a complete service trip, chemical bath and adjusted for maximum playability.
