Conn 8H Vintage Elkhart from 1957. Standard Conn 8H with 8.5" Rose Brass Bell, Standard weight .547 Handslide. Original case. Pro Player owned and maintained. Has leather grips/guards. Tuning slide with extra brace. 50's model handlside without slide lock, springs in first position. Fantastic Playing 8H, all original parts. Bell is mostly unlacquered. Plays quick with very even response and articulations. Has dark and flexible sound. Suberb ressonance. Would make a great straight large bore tenor for any pro-player, Conn lover or collector. Not many of this vintage around at any given time. This is the type of horn that passes from teacher to player and rarely becomes available in the secondary market. No service required to improve playability. Mouthpiece not included.
