Conn 88HO Large Bore tenor trombone. This is the open wrap version of the classic 88H. Has 8.5" rose brass bell and .547 bore handslide. Approximately 20 years old, single owner instrument. Has never seen major damage or repairs and is still in excellent playing condition. We did full shop service here including chemical bath, rotor service and slide adjusting. Rotor is super fast and quiet. Handslide plays proper and is without any issues, such as inner tube plating loss or red rot. Some lacquer wear but not bad. Has minor acid bleed spots on outer bell rim, but typical of these types of instruments of this age. This would be an excellent choice for any advancing player looking for that first pro level large bore open wrap tenor trombone. This model sells factory new today with MAP pricing at over $3400.
