It is not likely to decline in value over time. The 88H model will not likely go out of style anytime in the future. Players all over the world love 88H's, and for good reason. Rose Brass Bell, Unsoldered Rim, Gold Brass Handslide with Nickel silver endcrook. Immediate warmth and darkness, with the capability of changing color of tonality very quickly. This horn has the original Remington Taper leadpipe. They always play best with the Remington taper in mind. However, some guys will play them with a modern Morse Taper. We prefer the former. Other differences vs. later year make is that it has a nickel silver tuning slide guard, just a little more weight up top. These were also made without slide locks.
