CONN

Conn 78H Medium Bore Tenor .522, made in Elkhart, IN Vintage 1967.  This is a pro player owned 78 that really plays.   The 8" bell seems light, quick and responsive.  All original parts and lacquer, however, we pictured here prior to chemical bath and service.  The neck pipe had a leather wrap previously and the lacquer on the neck and tuning slide is gone.  We plan to relacquer the neck, may also lacquer the TS. Handslide is in very good condition.  Innner slide tubes are without defect (super rare), no plating wear.  This would be a great all around medium bore tenor for any player.  Would be an outstanding medium bore jazz horn.  Very similar to the 6H, but the slide is a little wider and of course it is a .522 bore.  Takes standard small shank mouthpiece.  I like playing it with something in the 6.5 AL size.  Non-original case.  Mouthpiece not included.
