Conn 71H Single Rotor Bass Trombone. Vintage Elkhart late 1960's. Is a very good playing lightweight single bass. All original parts. Original lacquer is mostly gone. Bell is a thinner wall construction that most bass trombones today. It makes it especially responsive and resonate. The original handslide is in good condition, no chrome plating loss on the inner slide tubes. The tubes are straight and it plays easily. The instrument has had a chemical bath/flush. No further service needs to improve playability. This would make a great big band horn for a doubler, or for any player looking to learn bass who can live without the second valve. Not a bad way to learn the instrument. 88H Players, 6H Guys will take to the sound/feel instantly. Non-original case, utility type included. Will also include mouthpiece & lubricants.
