9.5" Yellow Brass

Conn 70H Bass Trombone.  Made in Elkhart, IN 1952. Has 9.5” yellow brass bell with Tuning in handslide, standard Conn bass rotor.  This is a single owner Bass Trombone.  Is in gorgeous condition.  All original parts, recently serviced.  Never any damage to bell or slide.  Inner tubes are perfect, slide action is also as good as it gets.  Valve is also in fantastic shape.  The horn had some lacquer wear and a few minor dings early in its life.  The previous owner had the entire instrument gone over and refinished with excellent lacquer about 40 years ago.  This horn is a real player.  Has original Remington Leadpipe.  This is a perfect bass for anyone looking for a single valve.  Plays dark and rich, is Conn sound all the way.  George Roberts played a 70H for most of his career.  I think he would probably like this one.  Original case is included, but could use some restoration.  One latch is broken and the end the bell side of the case is coming apart. It could be restored by someone with know-how.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
