Trombone Model Conn 6H "M" Series Vintage 1969. This is like new old stock, but, actually, is a single owner horn closest kept, not played on since 1969. It is in perfect condition. Flawless in appearance and Flawless the way it plays. The 8" Yellow brass bell is amazing, really no flaws. The gold brass .500 bore handslide (stock) is also straight as an arrow and smooth as silk. When you play one of these for the first time, as a small bore specialist, you simply fall in love with the horn. The problem is that you just can't find another one quite as good because they don't make them anymore. Even if they did make them, it wouldn't be the same because different alloys, solder, machines, and craftsman are all different today than the vintage Conn era. Sure, you can buy a $3000-$4000 boutique horn today, but will they play as good as a vintage 6H? Conn sells a new 100H today for $2400. If Rosolino were still around today, which one do you think he would pick? Yes, this is a great one. Case is also in mint condition, not faded, leather wrap ends with stitching all near perfect. *Sold*
