Conn 4H Vintage Early 1950's Model with old style half moon Conn engraving, S/N 390816. This is what Conn players were using for commerical style music and Jazz before the larger models came out. It was a great horn in it's day, but it's still a great horn now. Perfect for anyone looking to play under .500 bore. Is a nice departure from the typical 2B-3B that is so popular. Has 7" yellow brass bell, .485 bore size, standard weight handslide. This one is all original parts and lacquer except for the balance weight. It may have been sold originally without one, or had the older style one which someone removed. This horn hasn't seen any damage or major repairs. It just has lacquer wear and minor plating loss on one of the inners, typical of horns this age. It still plays and has a sweet sound. Would be nice for lead in a big band, or anywhere something smaller is required. Perfect for dixie or trad jazz. Original case, mouthpiece also included. In-stock for immediate delivery.
