Conn 48H, Jazz/Commercial Style .500 Bore Tenor Trombone. Has 8” Nickel Silver Bell and .500 Bore gold brass handslide. All original parts and lacquer. Has the same technical specs as the 6H, but plays quite different with the nickel silver bell. I feel that there is less high frequency overall in timbre. In other words, these play a little darker that the yellow brass 6H. But, the thing is, you make a 48H scream when called upon to do so. They were fantastic Jazz horns back in he 1960’s and they still are today. The problem is that there aren’t many of them available. This one is in primo condition and will not disappoint. Handslide is flawless, and without plating defect, and super straight tubes with superior alignment. Original case in excellent condition. In stock for immediate delivery.
