Conn 48H Made in 1970 in Elkhart, Indiana. This .500 bore Jazz trombone has an 8" nickel silver bell and a gold brass slide. It's too bad that Conn stopped producing this model. Once you play it, you will know why. Is very similar to the 6H Rosolino model in specs .500 bore with unsoldered 8" bell. The bracing is fancier on this model than the 6H, most obvious on the handslide, but the bell bracing is also different. The design is very comfortable to hold. It blows very easily but actually plays a little darker than a yellow brass bell. Ideally suited for higher dynamics but also sounds grea on a mic. We recently recorded a youtube video comparing this model to a 6H, check it out. This horn is in great shape and requires no additional service to improve appearance or playability. Comes with a new protec case.
