Conn 44H Vocabell Vintage 1957

Conn 44H Vocabell Vintage 1947.  This model is also known as the Conqueror.  Has 7” yellow brass rimless bell.  The alloy is heavier gauge than most of the vintage Conns.  Handslide is .485 bore standard weight.  We have had many 44H’s over the years here and know a good one when we play it.  This one is good.  It is super straight.  Handslide is very good and without inner slide defects, very straight tubes and plays loose. Unlacquered bell section, but never any bell damage. Is a very straight horn.  Is the type of horn that you can play lead in a big band, trad jazz, dixie.  Feels and sounds great.  Has had the full shop service including chemical bath and slide adjust.  Does not have original case, no case included.  In-stock
