Vintage Conn 40H with Tuning in slide. Has 7" Satin Silver Finish bell with gold plating inner bell, all original to the instrument. This is a closet find. Has been well preserved. We cleaned and serviced it, minor dent removal from a few areas on the bell. Looks fantastic. The slide is good. This horn is very playable. Could definitely be a pro-level horn for Traditional Jazz or early American Music. I believe that sound projects better with Tuning In Slide because of the extra weight. It is hard to overblow this trombone. The sound stays together at very high volume levels. Tested with multiple modern mouthpieces, 7C, 11C, 12C standard Bach shank all fit and work perfectly. Original case in good condition. This both a player and collectors horn, not many around in this condition. Parents note: This would make an excellent horn for marching band. Very easy to play at loud level, and because of the unique two-tone silver-gold finish, it will be really easy to spot your kid on the field.
