Conn 40H SN 267482 made in 1929, super mint condition. Conn originally called this the Ballroom model. Has 7" Bell, and #3 Conn Bore Size. Original glass bead silver plate finish, with inner bell gold plate. The special feature of this model is T.I.S. or Tuning in Hand Slide, no bell tuning. We did full shop service here including chemical bath and complete once over. This horn is in almost perfect condition and is without any defects. There is one small area of silver plating loss on the cross brace where your thumb grabs the horn. The handslide tubes are perfect, super straight, no defects. Trad Jazz Players sound amazing on this model. The added weight forward in the slide transfers the energy into forward projection. It sounds great without a mic. But, also amazing solos on a mic. Would be a great Dixieland sound. Includes original Case and 2 mouthpieces. Will not disappoint.
