Conn 24H Vintage Professional Jazz Trombone. Made in Elkhart, IN around 1965. This is one of the last small-bore models under .500 bore produced by Conn prior to closing the Elkhart factory. Has 7" yellow brass bell, and .485 bore lightweight gold brass hand slide with nickel end crook. The back of the slide is stamped LW. This is the first one that we have seen here since the beginning, and it is quite rare. Plays with a lot of punch and color. Can sizzle easily. Has a screaming high range. Would be a great sound for a variety of commercial settings, jazz/rock/funk or lead in a big band. This one is in very condition, has had full shop service, including chemical bath. No issues with hand slide, no plating loss. All original parts and lacquer. Original case in good condition. In-stock for immediate delivery.
