Bach TB200B, Soloist Model, Same as Omega Model, Intermediate Model Trombone. Same spec size as Bach 36B Stradivarius Professional Model. This model is designed for advancing students and sell new today in the $3000 range. Band directors refer to these as step up instruments. Meaning that, once the student has advanced well on their first smaller student trombone, move up to something between a beginner horn and a professional model. However, I know quite a few parents that start their youngsters on these from day one because it is generally better quality than the entry level models. This particular TB200B is a single owner horn. Has 8" yellow brass bell, .525 bore handslide, and traditional wrap F attachment. It plays perfectly, no issues or prior damage. Hand slide is very good and plays proper, straight tubes and superior alignment. We did full shop service here including chemical bath and complete once over, no issues. The lacquer overall is good, some signs of wear, but not too bad. Includes a pre-owned professional Marco Magi Shires model case. This case is very easy to manage, no zippers, which can be a hassle for young players, plus zippers fail easily, the original was very heavy. We discarded it. The included Marco case is used and has scuff marks on the exterior, but is excellent quality and made to last, Made in Italy. Includes mouthpiece. Would be an excellent horn for any advancing student coming from a beginner horn. Ideal for middle school, high school, band and orchestra. Will even work great in Jazz band.
