Bach 6 VII, New York Era, Low Serial 18XX, made around 1940.  Has 7" Yellow Brass bell and .485 standard weight handslide.  Original Case.  If you were a big band player in the 1940's and wanted to work with Glen Miller, you would have played this model, as he wanted all of the guys in the section to blend.  This Bach 6 is in remarkable condition.  Has been chem cleaned and serviced, slide aligned, adjusted.  Plays superb.  Mostly original lacquer, except for outer rim about 1" all the way around was worn, brass exposed.  We smoothed it out and touched up the area.  Hand slide end crook was also relacquered, yet is original.  Overall the horn is in amazing condition.  Is amazing that it never had any damage. Would make a great lead horn, or solo for big band leader playing Dorsey style solos, super rare in this shape.
