Bach 50LT Bass Trombone Handslide.  Corporation Era from 1969.  If this slide would have been made 6 years earlier it would be a Mt. Vernon Era.  Players know that some of the best Bach trombones were made in the 1950's, 60's and 70's.  Vincent Bach remained in control of his company up until 1976.  The trombones made between 1963 adn 1976 are commonly referred to as "Corporation" era. This is an all original parts/lacquer 1969 make.  The Chicago symphony tenor players, Jay Friedman, Michael Mulcahy use 50LT slides on their tenors.  A few years ago when visiting Cleveland, Massimo Larosa showed me his Gold Brass 42 with a 50LT Handslide.  This makes a tenor play huge, but it's just a great bass trombone slide too.   This one is getting a chemical bath and set up prior to delivery.  The previous owner had electrial tape wrapped on the lower cork barrel and it ate into the lacuer.  Upon request, we will strip, polish and relacquer the lower cork barrell.  Please call or email for price.  Great playing slide as is.
