Bach 42B Corporation Era Make, Vintage 1974. SN 17103. This is the classic 42B with 8.5" one-piece yellow brass bell, traditional rotor, standard weight slide. Has had full shop service, including chemical bath, rotor service, slide adjusted. Has had a previous new lacquer job, excellent quality work. This horn plays proper, sounds gorgeous and looks terrific. The slide is very good, falls freely with gravity. High level players with super selective slide expectations may feel that a slide tech could get a little more out of it, but it is totally playable as is. It's not a 10 out of 10 currently, but has potential, probably an 8 right now. If you really like the horn you could take it to your slide guy for additional set up, or send it in to us and will do it for an additional cost. Includes a new Marco Magi Lighweight Series Case with back pack strap option, included. This is a one of a kind case and is new, just arrived from Italy. It has the NN series main panels and burgundy top and bottom panels. Is a gorgeous lightweight hard shell case that will not disappoint, is considerably lighter than the NN custom series.
