Bach 42 Straight Tenor. Made in the 1970's has S/N 21,5XX . Standard 8.5" yellow brass bell, standard weight handslide yellow brass, .547 with removable press fit leadpipe. This is a pro player horn. Bell section has had previous dent work. We gave it a once over, full shop service with chemical bath, and handslide adjust. This is a great representation of a 1970's 42. Plays very easily, bell seem light, quick and responsive. Does not include balance weight. They didn't ship horns from the factory in those days with balance weights. But, we have one upon request for $50 extra, please call. This is all original lacquer- but not much left. No isssues with playability. Original case, old, but still good shape.
