Bach 42 yellow brass bell and tuning slide with O.E. Thayer Axial Flow Valve. S.E. Shires threaded fittings with valve section, fitted to a Bach tuning slide. Handslide is a standard weight Edwards .547 with yellow brass outer tubes and nickel end crook. Includes one brass Edwards leadpipe and one sterling silver Edwards leadpipe. Previous owner, professional Orchestra player used this instrument as his daily driver, up until the time of his passing in 2014. This instrument has been played at very high level and has learned to vibrate perfectly. Plays very open and resonates quickly. It is the type of horn that you win a job with and play in a professional orchestra. If you price the components separately this is a tremendous valve. A valve section alone sells for over $1800 today. This instrument is in near perfect condition, minus a little lacquer loss on the hand grip area. Includes a like new Protec Pro-pac case.
