Vincent Bach Corporation Stradivarius Model 36B New York 67, Vintage 1950. This instrument was made at the Bronx, NY factory, prior to the move to Mount Vernon in 1953. This 36B is all original parts, including slide inners/outers and leadpipe. We did full shop service on this horn with chemical bath, rotor removed, casing polished, hand slide outers polished inner surface, and slide trued for superior alignment. Some small dents and dings have been removed over the years but not bad. The neck pipe/rotor alignment to the bell is as straight as an arrow. Most of the original lacquer is gone. It was also sprayed with a gold tinted lacquer, many years ago, some small spots of this is left, but mostly gone. This has always been a great horn and sounds amazing. Once you pick it up and play it you understand why. Indeal for orchestra work, musical theater, pops, studio. Jazz guys also love 36's, trigger or no trigger, strong projection with F attachment, and more options for low notes. It makes a lot sense. No service needs to improve playability.
