Bach 36 Straight tenor. Mount Vernon New York Era, Vintage 1960. Has standard 8" bell section with standard weight 36 slide. Bell is not stamped "G" for gold brass, but we think there is some gold brass in this alloy. Plays very warm. Has a velvet like smooth rich sound. All parts and lacquer are orginal on this instrument. Is both a pro player and collector horn. Handslide has been adjusted and "set-up" here. This would be an amazing all around tenor for any player. Would make an excellent medium size Jazz horn for an artist. Comes with original Mt. Vernon French style case. Current make Bach 36G is a replica of this model, they don't come close in playability or sound, and sell for $2900 today. Is ready for immediate delivery.
