Bach 16M Corporation Era. This is a 1970's make small bore tenor which has a 7.5" yellow brass bell and .508 lightweight nickel silver handslide. The 16M model is the one that Bill Watrous Popularized in the 1970's. This one plays fantastic. Every once in a while a horn like this arrives in our shop. When you pick it up to play it you know instantly. This is probably the best playing one that has ever been here. The lacquer finish is not original on the bell section, but who cares, it looks amazing and plays perfectly. Is the type of horn that a Jazz or commerical type guy could find his voice with. Plays with velvet like overtones, rich and goreous sounding. Included is a Black Leather Cronkhite case, new. These cases sell new for close to $500. We also have them in stock in brown if you prefer. If you want the horn but not the case we will discount by $400. Please call or email to order without case.
